Hello Kitty is one of the most popular themes, if not the most popular one, I have come across in my 13 years in the kids party industry.
One of the reasons is maybe that it is so versatile with the colours you can choose. I have searched for some beautiful, fresh and interesting ideas that you can use or incorporate into your next party.
I just love this ruffle table cloth that they have used in this candy table set-up.
A good idea is making your treats into decor pieces. Hello Kitty labels can transform your sweetie packets into an eye catching decor arrangement.
Plain water and cooldrink bottles look much more cheerful by just adding labels and a bow.
It's easier than you think to make these labels. I simply search for cute pics in the theme of the party, in this case Hello Kitty and copy and paste them into a Word file. Then I drag them into the size I want and arrange them on the page so I fit the most in. Printing it on a normal deskjet printer won't do the trick, because if a drink is cold and it condensated a little on the outside of the bottle, the colours may run. What I normally do is to save my file on an USB stick and take it to my local print shop (PNA) and ask then to print the file on sticker paper. It works out just over R 8 a sheet, you can then just cut out your images and stick them on the items you want to decorate for the party.
Make your own easy Hello Kitty cupcakes, by using a Hello Kitty face shaped cutter. I used mine on the cupcakes below. It saves a lot of time and is extremely easy to use.
I found some of these press out fondant/cookie cutters on Bid or Buy and they're really affordable.
Themed cookies are always a hit and these Hello Kitty faces are sure to be.
Pretty in pink coloured cake layers.
